Paul Janeway and his band, “St. Paul & the Broken Bones”, have been popular among music blogs of all kinds recently, and for good reason. Janeway is a big dude with a big voice. It’s one of those old-time classic soul voices that makes you involuntarily nod your head along to whatever he happens to be wailing about. (Hint: It’s usually about women & heartache.) The subject matter isn’t revolutionary, but the delivery is exceptional.
