Hiss Golden Messenger is a roots-rock duo from North Carolina. M.C. Taylor and Scott Hirsch have released four LPs over the course of seven years. They make full-bodied folk rock that’s often reminiscent of Calexico, Lambchop, and Bill Callahan.
