Son Little is a bluesy/soul/rock artist from Philadelphia, PA. Some of his music sounds like an old-fashioned crooner à la Sam Cooke or Otis Redding, and some sounds like an avant-garde rocker like Jack White or Black Lips. It can be jarring at times, but he pulls it off really well.
His willingness to jump around stylistically should make for an interesting debut full-length album, due later this year.
In the meantime, you can check out his first EP, entitled Things I Forgot, here.
