If you like your music a little rollicking and crunchy and distorted, then Wisconsin indie garage rockers The Living Statues might be worth your time.
They write mostly upbeat, straight-forward rock songs with no shortage of power chords, but they do it well. And there’s just enough grit and strain in the singer’s delivery to remind you why Julian Casablancas was such a big deal a decade or so ago.
Their debut full-length album is due later this year, but for now you can check out their EP here.
