Old 97s & Two Cow Garage

Two old-fashioned, heart-on-your-sleeve rock anthems for today.

They both give a deliberate nod to Paul Westerberg and Bruce Springsteen, but the songs are good enough that you probably won’t mind.

And how could anyone dislike a song that rhymes “self-referential” and “confidential”, and contains the line “I’ve made a living out of shakin’ my ass”?

In our own way, we all make a living out of shakin’ our ass, I suppose.

Buy these guys’ music here and here.
